- Abstract
- Management accounting plays an important rile in organizational decision-making . The study explored the significant relationship between management accounting graduates work motivation, engagement, and job performance. This study used the descriptive-correlational design; it took place in Misamis Occidental among management accounting graduates chosen through purposive sampling techniques. Mean and Standard Deviation, Person Correlation Coefficient, Frequency Percentage , and F-Test and T-Test were used for data analyses. Demographic profiles, work motivation, work engagement, and job performance questionnaires were used to gather data from 73 management accounting graduates working in the corporate sector. The results show that management accounting graduates' work motivation, engagement, and job performance are very high. Their work motivation, engagement, and job performance are very high. Meanwhile, management accounting graduates work motivation and engagement postulate a highly significant relationship. In contrast, the job performance of management accounting graduates does not postulate a significant difference when grouped according to profile. The finding revealed that management accountants exhibit a proactive and result-oriented professional identity, significantly influencing their work motivation and engagement levels. The job environment plays a vital role in shaping intrinsic motivation, as employees who perceive themselves as valuable assets to their organizations tend to demonstrate higher motivation and engagement. The corporate sector should continue reinforcing reward management programs so that all its employees are actively engaged and motivated to perform their jobs
