- Abstract
- Social and academic integration are essential for students' perseverance and contentment because they create community, improve academic achievement, and offer helpful support systems. This study investigated how students' relationships with their peers and academic work affect their happiness and propensity to continue their education. This study employed a descriptive-correlational research approach. In the first semester of the 2024–2025 academic years, 154 students were enrolled in their second through fourth years of hospitality management. The study employed the Student Satisfaction Inventory Questionnaire, the Student Experience in the Research University Questionnaire, and the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire. The purpose of the following surveys was to examine retention and satisfaction among college students. The statistical techniques employed in this investigation were Mean and Standard Deviation and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. Perseverance and overall college satisfaction are significantly higher among students who feel socially engaged and incorporated into campus life. These findings highlight how crucial it is to create a welcoming, inclusive campus culture in order to improve student achievement. Building a vibrant campus climate implies cultivating a strong sense of inclusion and belonging. A vibrant campus atmosphere requires a strong sense of inclusiveness and belonging. The total outcome demonstrates that social integration significantly impacts college students' contentment and intention to stick with their studies. Initiatives that foster encouraging and stimulating campus settings that benefit students and the university as a whole should be given top priority at Misamis University to improve student achievement and well-being.
