- Abstract
- This study investigated the interplay between supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and market expansion effectiveness in pursuit towards non-food retail stores. It was conducted among Non – food retail store Small – Medium Enterprises (SME) in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental. This study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design. Moreover, the study has identified 651 non – food retail stores small – medium sized, and 240 respondents were recognized using raosoft calculator, but only 220 respondents were qualified, who were chosen through purposive sampling technique. The adapted and modified questionnaires, the Supply Chain Resilience Questionnaire, Risk Mitigation Questionnaire, and Market Expansion Effectiveness Questionnaire, were used to gather data. Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Correlation Coefficient were the statistical tools used in the study. The findings revealed supply chain resilience level was high. In addition, the level of risk mitigation/risk management framework interpreted as high. As such, the non – food retailers’ market expansion effectiveness level was high. Additionally, the correlation between supply chain resilience and market expansion effectiveness towards non – food retail store have a highly significant correlation. Nonetheless, the correlation between risk mitigation/risk management framework and market expansion effectiveness has no significant relationship. The researchers recommend conducting further studies on a broader scope related to the findings.
