The present study investigated and aimed to identify the coping styles and psychological well-being among college students in Ozamiz City. Concern over psychological distress has grown recently as it has become a common problem among college students. A person's emotional health and overall functioning are referred to as psychological well-being, which is frequently regarded as a sign of good mental health in adults. Coping styles include the behavioral and cognitive changes people make to deal with their unique stressors, which help them manage stress and negative experiences. They include behavioral, emotional, and cognitive techniques meant to address or lessen the tension that exists between a person and their surroundings. This study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design with 100 college students from selected university in Ozamiz City determine through random sampling as the respondents. A researcher-made questionnaire was used in collecting data from the respondents to assess their coping styles together with their psychological well-being. Approval from the Dean of the institution before conducting the study was secured. Anonymity, confidentiality, and informed consent were maintained throughout the conduct of the study. Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson Product-Moment correlation coefficient were used as statistical method and techniques. The respondents’ demonstrated an effective coping styles with problem- solving and avoidance strategies being prominent and a very high level of psychological well-being particularly in terms of self-acceptance and personal growth. Seeking social support as a coping style contributes to positive relations with others and overall psychological well-being. There is a significant relationship between respondents’ coping styles and psychological well-being. The predictors of psychological well-being are problem solving and seeking social support.
